Lace up those running shoes, strap on that step counter and head down to the 23rd Annual Run & Fun Walk for Hospice of St. Mary's is taking place Saturday, April 14, 2018, at the St. Mary’s County Governmental Center in Leonardtown. The day offers something for everyone – a competitive 10K race for hard-core runners, and a 5K run or fun walk.
Camp Sunrise was developed for children ages 7-15 to address the unique grieving process of children and their developmentally appropriate response to death. It is an opportunity for children to learn how to express their feelings and thoughts on the loss of their loved one, honor and remember their loved one, and connect with other children who have experienced loss.
